If there is an actor who could perfectly narrate a documentary about the tragic attacks of 9/11, then it would be Blue Bloods star, Tom Selleck. And that’s exactly what he will be doing in a new Paramount Plus documentary. It’s called 26th Street Garage The FBI’s Untold Story of 9/11.
Obviously, Tom Selleck is a man of many talents. His incredible acting resume speaks for itself, having starred in numerous roles in film and on television. From his time on Magnum, P.I. in the 1980s, to the current day where he stars on Blue Bloods as Frank Reagan, Tom Selleck is simply a fan favorite.
So, who else would be better to narrate the new 9/11 documentary? The answer is probably no one. Selleck is known for his deep and powerful voice. Oh, and it doesn’t hurt that Selleck has spent almost 11 years portraying the New York City Police Commissioner on the popular CBS police drama.
The official Paramount Plus Twitter account posted a clip on Thursday for fans to watch. And you guessed it, Selleck will be the narrator in the new documentary.
“In the desperate moments after the 9/11 attacks, the FBI was forced to evacuate its New York Office,” Selleck begins in the video. “Agents left behind almost everyone tool that had to do their jobs. Yet they still had to launch the most important investigation in American history immediately. 20 years later, their story can finally be told. 26th Sreet Garage: The FBI’s Untold Story of 9/11. Now streaming exclusively on Paramount Plus.”
The network’s Twitter account shared the video with the following caption:
“This is the story of how the FBI turned a parking garage into the most important investigative command center in the days following 9/11.”
