In what has been a crazy turn of events, That ’70s Show actress and Bond Girl, Tanya Roberts, is still alive. Her boyfriend Lance O’Brien found out she was still alive while he was in the middle of an interview.

Roberts’ publicist Mike Pingel announced on Sunday that she had passed away suddenly. The 65-year-old was walking her dogs on Christmas Eve before she collapsed, Pingel said. She was then rushed to the hospital and placed on a ventilator.

However, during an interview with Inside Edition, O’Brien found out his girlfriend is still alive. Tanya Roberts is well known for her starring role on Charlie’s Angels and for playing a Bond Girl in A View to a Kill.

O’Brien was unquestionably emotional when he learned of the news. Take a look at the footage of his interview with Inside Edition below:

O’Brien initially told TMZ that he was unable to visit Tanya Roberts at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles due to COVID-19 restrictions. However, it wasn’t long after that a hospital staffer made an exemption for him because they thought Roberts would not make it much longer.

“As I held her in her last moments, she opened her eyes,” O’Brien said. “I was able to see her beautiful eyes one last time. Tanya had the most beautiful eyes.”

Just hours after other media outlets reported Roberts’ death on Monday, O’Brien was interviewing with Inside Edition. During the interview, O’Brien got a phone call from the ICU, informing him that Roberts was indeed still alive.

“When she saw me and I was there, I saw her eyes open up. I felt good. I said, ‘Hey, her eyes are opening. Her eyes are opening.’ They told me that’s just a reflex,'” O’Brien recalled.
