Carrie Underwood’s Christmas Celebration Advice
Carrie Underwood’s first words of advice is “giving is more important than getting.”
“It’s not all about giving,” she says. “It’s really important to give too, especially if you can. Give it forward. Pay it forward. Make your Christmas better and definitely make somebody else’s Christmas better.”
Carrie’s first tip brings to mind how the Grinch’s heart grew three sizes larger after giving instead of getting.
Eat, Drink, and Be Merry!
Her second tip is of the utmost importance: “Eat!”
“Enjoy yourself,” she says.
“I love working out. I love being super healthy the vast majority of the year, but eat!” she adds.
Then you can begin working on those New Year’s resolutions of working out and eating healthy.
Always Plan Ahead
Her third bit of advice is to plan ahead.
“I will get my menu all lined up before Christmas, and I plan it out. I know what I’m going to make,” says Underwood.
It will make the long haul of the holidays less overwhelming.
Underwood suggests is writing a list to get the menu and preparations lined up perfectly for the meal she is going to prepare. She does so to remain organized and less stressed.
She also explains how she can have the time to look up new recipes or ideas to create for a perfect Christmas feast.
A Little Bit of Eggnog in the Rum
When Carrie Underwood tells you to drink, you drink.
This is her fourth tip for the holidays, as she says, “Drink. You know, that’s okay. It’s good.”
She also adds if you’d like to spike your eggnog, she supports it.
