Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line is giving his Instagram followers a look at an embarrassing moment when he face-planted while riding a scooter. The country music star took to social media over the weekend to reveal the hilarious clip.
“Yup, it’s still 2020 and I just had another piece of humble pie,” he captions the post. “@hayley_hubbard and I laughed until we cried watching this last night…after the pain wore off. EFF ME.”
The video shows Hubbard, who is wearing a cast on his right leg, trying to wheel his scooter down a step. While doing so, the scooter gets too far out in front of him, resulting in the father of two taking a tumble.
Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard on Rupturing His Achilles
The Florida Georgia Line member underwent surgery last month after an accident on a dirt bike track, Taste of Country reports. He took to social media to speak out about the road to recovery.
“Doc said his goal was to have me walking in 5 weeks. Hayley and I said ‘make it 4 weeks because that’s when baby number 3 gets here,'” Hubbard writes in the caption of his video message.
In the clip, Hubbard explained how he injured his Achilles tendon. “I have a ruptured Achilles tendon and I broke the bone right there on the inside of the ankle,” he said.
“It couldn’t be worse timing. I’m really bummed,” Hubbard continues in the clip. “I’m upset that I can’t be helpful around the house as much as I would like to be. I know God is teaching me something through all this and I’m going to try to stay positive. Going to try to work on my mental game and apparently some upper-body.”
Hubbard and his wife Haley are expecting their third child in the coming weeks. The couple announced the new addition to the family back in March.
