Gwen Stefani revisits some of her most iconic looks in the video for her new song “Let Me Reintroduce Myself.” The pop icon reached back as far as her No Doubt days for the video released on New Year’s Day.

“Literally can’t believe i got to revisit the original old me,” Stefani posted on Twitter. “This one is for all the old school and the new school….got a smile on my face go ahead and pass it on.”

The outfits include the iconic “Just a Girl” athletic look and the polka-dot dress from the “Don’t Speak” video as well as several others.

The stylist for the video Rob Zangardi posted side-by-side photos of Stefani then and now to show off how detailed they got in recreating the looks.

“Let me Reintroduce Myself” also features several call backs to some of her biggest hits as well. It’s B-A-N-A-N-A-S how many she’s scattered throughout the song.

One of the most notable new things in the video is the engagement ring from fiance Blake Shelton. Stefani shows off the giant diamond ring at one point in the video.

Gwen Stefani To Release First New Studio Album in 4 Years

“Let Me Reintroduce Myself” will be the first single off the upcoming album, though little is known about it so far. Gwen Stefani told Billboard early last month that she had nearly 20 songs done for her next solo project. But she still planned to write more over Christmas and New Year’s. That means there is no solid release date available for it.

Though Stefani has been up front about what to expect to hear on it. Like her new video, Stefani is going back in time for inspiration.

“I just had this lightbulb moment,” Stefani told Billboard. “I was like, ‘I really want to investigate where I started in music — the reggae and ska, when I first fell in love with music, when it defined who I was.’ … Once I got into that mode, it was like a wildfire, because every person I went in with, we were just so inspired and excited to be doing that kind of music.”

Stefani hasn’t released a studio album with new music since This Is What The Truth Feels Like in 2016.
