Jake Paul had an interesting outfit choice during his most recent UFC fight.

Prior to his fight against Tyron Woodley, he did an interview with Showtime backstage. During the time, he had three LED screens built into his shorts. They displayed his name in marquee style.

When the interview finally ended, Paul made note of the shorts. “Have you ever seen shorts like these before?”

Social media users were conflicted about his lavish attention-grabbing shorts. Some loved the retro LED screens built into the shorts while others thought it was too flashy.

Jake Paul won the fight which took place at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio. Paul ended with 77-75, 75-77, and 78-74. He had three knockouts of Woodley. Overall, Jake Paul has a 4-0.

Paul had 71 punches while Woodley had 52. Additionally, he connected 41% of his power shots while Woodley only had 36%.

Prior to the fight, the 190-lb YouTuber was favored to win among betting odds. His odds were at a -200 while Woodley was approximately between +150-170.

Jake Paul’s Bet

In a pre-fight bet, Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley agreed that the loser would get a tattoo professing their love for the winner.

Immediately after the fight, Woodley requested a rematch. Paul seemingly agreed only if his terms were met.

“F—k the [Tommy Fury] fight, me and Jake need to run that back,” Woodley said via CBS Sports. “Off the top, I want an instant rematch. Nobody‘s going to sell a pay-per-view like we did. I felt like he was tough. I hit him and the ropes held him up.”

Paul said that he would only do a rematch if Woodley got the “I love Jake Paul” tattoo.

“Of course, he wants the payday,” Paul said. “You had your opportunity. You had your chance. If you get the tattoo of ‘I love Jake Paul,’ let’s run it back.”

Although he won, Paul admitted that he was a “tough opponent.” This makes sense as he has been boxing and fighting for over 20 years while Paul has done it for just three years.

“This was a tougher fight than I expected. My legs felt weird from the locker room. I don’t know what to say.,” Paul continued. “He put up a good fight and came in shape. I have nothing but respect for him. There was a lot of shit talk but I apologize if I offended his team.”

That wasn’t the only smack talk going on before the fight. Paul spoke about UFC president Dana White ahead of the big day. The YouTuber said that White is attempting to “discredit” what he is doing.

“I think it ends with me running into him at a club in Vegas and me knocking him the f–k out,” Paul told media outlets.

White took it all in stride and knows that there are baseless threats being made before every match and that is part of the sport.
