The Daytime Emmy nominations are in! Both Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune fans have much to celebrate, but who came out on top?

“We’re honored, @daytimeemmys!” says Jeopardy! via their official Instagram Tuesday. You know what that means… It’s Daytime Emmys time once again!

“America’s Favorite Quiz Show” is no stranger (at all) to Emmys. In fact, all it will take is one more win in 2021’s awards ceremony for Jeopardy! to break a staggering 40 Emmys.

You read that right! According to Jeopardy.com‘s ‘awards’ page, “With 39 Emmys®Jeopardy! isn’t just America’s Favorite Quiz Show®. It’s America’s most award-winning game show!”

In 2021, Jeopardy! has 3 total nominations, which you can see below. One belongs to the late, great Alex Trebek (posthumously) in a category he deservedly won many times in his life.

How is ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Doing Against Emmy Juggernaut ‘Jeopardy!’?

Now, you might ask, how is Wheel of Fortune doing against the absolute Emmys juggernaut that is their Sony partner Jeopardy!?

Historically, as the latter points out themselves above, Jeopardy! has far more wins at 39. Wheel of Fortune doesn’t come close, but Pat Sajak has won 3 himself.

As for 2021 specifically, however, the two shows stand tied! Each received 3 nominations for the Emmys this year, with both Pat Sajak and the late Alex Trebek nominated.

According to Variety, those nominations are:
