‘Wheel of Fortune’ Asks Fans to Solve New Puzzle and Let’s Just Say It Isn’t Going Well

One of the most enjoyable parts of watching the hit game show Wheel of Fortune is working with the contestants to solve the puzzles while watching at home.

But, what if we were asked to solve a puzzle with just the clue, and no letters selected? This is exactly what the Wheel of Fortune Instagram page challenged us to do in a Monday afternoon video.

“Can you solve this puzzle before tonight’s show?” the game-show runners ask fans in the Monday Insta post.

It’s an extremely short video, starting out with longtime Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak introducing the puzzle.

“So I will tell you that the category for the first round is one we don’t see very often,” the host says as the video cuts to the Wheel of Fortune puzzle board.

The video shows fans a four-word puzzle, the first two words and the last two are separated by an “&.”

Soon, fans immediately went to work trying to solve the puzzle before the show airs later this evening, Monday, November 8.

‘Wheel of Fortune’ Asks Fans To Solve A ‘Husband and Wife Puzzle’

Some noted right away that without any letters on the board, they have no idea where, exactly, to start.

“Not enough clues for me,” notes one Insta follower in the Monday post.

“Y’all have my brain racking,” responds another fan to the blank puzzle.

Others popped right in, coming up with some possible answers to the Wheel of Fortune “husband and wife” puzzle.

One fan responds, guessing the name of a movie-star favorite and his wife.

“George Clooney and Amal Clooney,” suggests an Insta user. However, another commenter points out that this is likely not the answer as the number of letters in the first words do not match.

“Nope,” responds one user. “The first word is five letters, not six.”

Then, fans moved on to guessing another famous husband and wife couple by throwing out our favorite country music star, and his pop-rocker wife, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.

“BLAKE SHELTON & GWEN STEFANI, perhaps?” asks one Wheel of Fortune Insta fan.

A few other Wheel of Fortune Instagram followers agree with this guess. The answer also fits the letter boxes perfectly, matching letter for letter in the four-word clue.

Boy Band Edition!

Music seems to be a theme lately for the long-running game show if these Instagram guesses are correct.

In fact, the popular game show even hosted some of our favorite bands this weekend in the latest edition of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune.

This Sunday night episode of the popular game show features N’Sync’s Joey Fatone and Boyz II Men members,Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman.

Joey Fatone was spinning for Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center at the University of Kentucky. Boyz II Men’s Morris was playing for Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Shawn Stockman played for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
