If you had to take a guess, what do you think Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak’s dressing room would look like? Something extravagant or something more on the simple side?

For the time being, all of us Wheel of Fortune fans can continue to speculate. However, in a video posted to his daughter’s Instagram story, Pat Sajak says he will soon give fans a tour of his dressing room to clear the air.

“I know you all are on the edge of your seat for today’s question,” Maggie Sajak wrote on her Instagram story.

Most people probably never really thought about it before but now we need to know. Thankfully, Pat and Maggie Sajak were busy on Monday afternoon answering fan questions and this exact topic happened to come up.

“So, several people are curious what your dressing room looks like,” Maggie says to her dad. “One person in particular pictures a library and a silk robe. Is that what it’s like?”

Sajak could do nothing but laugh at first. After he gathers himself, he fires back with a quip of his own.

“You know, it occurs to me that a lot of people get to just ride in their car and not have to answer questions,” Sajak jokes.

“Not him!” Maggie says with a smile.

‘Wheel of Fortune’ Host Pat Sajak Talks About His Dressing Room

Pat Sajak has been the host of Wheel of Fortune since 1981. And what an incredible 40 years it has been. But in all this time, fans have never really gotten to see some of the behind-the-scenes stuff on the show. Particularly, what Pat Sajak’s dressing room looks like.

“You know, there might be a couple of books lying around but it ain’t no library,” he explains. “And I don’t have any silk robes in my dressing room either. I don’t think I have a robe at all.”

Okay, now we know that the Wheel of Fortune host’s dressing room doesn’t contain a library nor any silk robes. Since we have that narrowed down, we can keep on guessing. But Sajak says we should save our breath. His dressing room is more on the “boring” side.

“It’s kind of a boring dressing room,” he says. “I mean, it’s nice and fixed up. They did a great job sort of fixing it up for me. There’s a TV in there and a couch.”

That’s when he finally comes up with the idea to do a video tour of his dressing room and post it on social media for fans to see. He tells his daughter Maggie that she can record the video.

“You know what, here’s what I’m gonna do — you be the cameraman, and you can follow me and I’ll give you a tour of my mildly interesting dressing room.”

Make no mistake about it — Pat Sajak’s dressing room may just be “mildly interesting” to him. But us Wheel of Fortune fans are very interested in watching his tour, whenever that may be.
