“That 70s Show” spinoff “That 90s Show” is receiving a lot of buzz. Netflix picked up the sitcom for 10 episodes, though we hope there will eventually be more. One of the biggest questions on everyone’s minds is what original cast members are going to return – if any? Specifically, fans want to know whether current NCIS star Wilmer Valderrama will return to the show as Fez.

We know the plotline follows Eric Forman’s (Topher Grace) daughter back to the land of cheese in the fictional town of Point Place, Wisconsin. There, the young Forman will spend a summer with her grandparents – Red and Kitty Forman. Both roles will be reprised by Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp. There’s been a lot of excitement surrounding the resurrection of the two characters.

However, creators of the show haven’t identified any other permanent roles for original cast members – but hinted that several will make guest star appearances.

Guest Appearances on “That 70s Show”

As for Valderrama, who’s been a regular on “NCIS” for a few years now, the question remains open. However, being that both Kitty and Red Forman will be in charge of Eric and Donna’s progeny, it could be very possible that some of the original troublemakers return to stir up some drama.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the original description of “That 90s Show” is as follows:

“Hello, Wisconsin! It’s 1995 and Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, is visiting her grandparents for the summer where she bonds with a new generation of Point Place kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red. Sex, drugs and rock ’n roll never dies, it just changes clothes.”

While it remains unclear what original actors will return, we’re sure there will be a lot of similar antics throughout the 10 episodes of the show. And we can’t wait.

Wilmer Valderrama Joins “NCIS” in 2016

While Wilmer Valderrama loved working on “That 70s Show,” the actor said he was really just learning the craft at the time. He also said many of his fellow cast member were also just learning the ropes of acting. This includes superstars Mila Kunis, Laura Prepon and Ashton Kutcher.

However, Valderrama showed his versatility by taking on more serious roles. This also includes his role on “NCIS” which began in 2016.

He plays Nick Torres on the show and has appeared in more than 100 episodes. The role is way different from his time playing the naive and adorable Fez on “That 70s Show.” But the actor has just proven that he’s grown up.

He’s also appeared in numerous other TV roles since his days as Fez, including “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Minority Report.”
