Yellowstone lead man Kevin Costner took to social media on Friday afternoon to share a cool flashback with his fans and followers.
The legendary actor, director, and producer posted a video to Twitter taking a look back at one of his famous award show speeches. Costner, with a full head of hair, is as classy as ever in his remarks. He gives thanks to the actors and directors that came before him. He credits them for helping to establish his love of movies.
“I really owe a debt to past generations of actors and filmmakers whose personal touches and battles led to my love of movies,” Costner says in the clip.
Kevin Costner also gives thanks to his fans for paying to come and see his movies. After all, his career wouldn’t have hit the meteoric levels that it did without them.
“I love that you come to these movies,” he continues. “I count on you coming, and I have never taken for granted that you would. So thank you very much.”
The Yellowstone star captioned the post by crediting the @kevincostnerifc page on Instagram for the video clip. Take a look at the full clip below.
“Ah, when going to the movies cost only $7. Thank you to @kevincostnerifc on Instagram for this flashback!” he wrote on Twitter.
Kevin Costner Coming Out With New Series
Kevin Costner has only been getting better with age. And he will soon have a new television show to add to his legendary resume — the highly-anticipated series National Parks.
We don’t yet know an exact start for the one-hour drama, but ABC recently gave the project the green light to move forward. The show will come from Costner’s Territory Pictures Entertainment, along with 20th Television and A+E Studios.
Similar to Yellowstone, Costner will be starring in National Parks. The show is set to follow a group of elite park service agents that will solve crimes to protect the parks. Additionally, the show will dive into the wide variety of criminal activity that happens in the gorgeous landscape of the national park system.
Kevin Costner spoke about the partnership he has with the contributing networks in a recent statement.
“Our partners at ABC, 20th Television, and A+E Studios have given me a great environment to step out of my comfort zone and deliver something special.”
This is no doubt exciting news for fans of Yellowstone, as Costner is a fan favorite. Thankfully, we’ve got plenty more from Kevin Costner to come. Paramount Network has been hinting at a Summer 2021 release date for Yellowstone Season 4. Further, show creator Taylor Sheridan just announced a new prequel titled, ‘Yellowstone: 1883.’ You can watch the teaser here.
That should hold us over until we can learn more about his new show.
