Add Stevie Nicks to the latest celebrity creating a contingency plan if President Donald Trump wins the election. The Fleetwood Mac singer said she would rather “live on another planet.”

While she didn’t call out Trump by name, she said the last four years have been “divisive.”

“I don’t want to live in a country that is so divisive. If this starts over and there’s another four years of this, then I’m going – but we’re not welcome anywhere,” Nicks told Variety. “So where can I go? And I’m thinking: Oh, space.”

The singer jokingly said she would call up Elon Musk for help. The inventor of SpaceX and Tesla has long dreamed about a manned mission to Mars to establish a colony.

“Maybe I can talk Elon Musk into giving us a jet and letting me pick 50 people,” Nicks said. “And we’re like the arc, and someone can take us and let us live on another planet until the next four years are over.”

Stevie Nicks Said The Past Four Years Has Made Her Unhappy.

Speaking with the outlet, Nicks discussed her new song “Show Them The Way,” which she said is “non-partisan.” The song includes images from the Black Lives Matter protests and civil rights marches. Nicks also included a tribute to Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

“Racism in the last four years is worse than it was,” Nicks said.

In an interview with The Guardian, Nicks criticized Amy Coney Barrett, Trump’s Supreme Court justice nominee. Nicks said she believes Barrett will overturn Roe v. Wade and outlaw abortions. Nicks also said without having her own abortion, Fleetwood Mac wouldn’t exist. Nicks became pregnant by Eagles singer Don Henley. At the time, Nicks didn’t want to step away from the band, which she called her “mission” in life.

“Abortion rights, that was really my generation’s fight,” Nicks told the outlet. “If President Trump wins this election and puts the judge he wants in, she will absolutely outlaw it and push women back into back-alley abortions.”
