On Friday, someone flew a banner with a message for Brian Laundrie’s family over the family’s house as the Gabby Petito case presses on in Florida over the weekend.
Laundrie is the main person of interest in his fiancée Gabby Petito’s disappearance and death, which authorities have ruled a homicide. He and Petito went on a tour of the nation’s national parks this summer as they traveled across America for months in her van. However, Laundrie returned home to Florida alone in Gabby’s van weeks ago.
Officials eventually found Petito’s body in Grand Teton National Park on Sept. 19. Ever since Laundrie got back to Florida, he’s been silent and refused to speak to the police. His parents followed suit and have been mostly uncooperative for weeks. Plus Laundrie went missing after going on a supposed hike at a huge wildlife reserve – the Carlton Reserve.
Now, a massive FBI-led manhunt has been ongoing for weeks in Central Florida with next to no results in finding Gabby Petito’s fiancé’s whereabouts. It hasn’t helped that his parents have stayed tight-lipped over the situation either. Their silence over the matter was called out recently by someone who hired an airplane with a short message. They simply want the family to speak up so that Gabby Petito can have justice.
FOX News shared a photo of the plane message on Instagram. It reads, “END THE SILENCE – JUSTICE FOR GABBY.”
“‘JUSTICE FOR GABBY’: Plane with clear message flies over Laundrie family’s Florida home this afternoon,” FOX News captioned their Instagram post.
Neighbors of the Laundrie Family Hammer Gabby Petito Sign Into Their Front Yard
The banner flying over the Laundrie family home yesterday isn’t the only signage around the house. On Friday night, neighbors of the Laundries hammered a sign with a message for the family in their front yard.
As the Gabby Petito investigation continues well into October, protestors have gathered on a daily basis at the Florida home of Brian Laundrie. Yet last night, a couple of neighbors took matters into their own hands when they set up a large sign in the family’s lawn.
A video circulated on social media last night of a group of 5 or 6 people protesting outside of the Laundrie’s home. Two women are seen hammering a large sign with Gabby Petito’s face on it into the family’s yard. News Nation Now correspondent Brian Entin shared the short clip that made the rounds on Twitter yesterday. In the background of the video, you can hear Entin ask the two women, “Where are y’all from?” They responded, “Across the street,” as they confirmed they live in the same neighborhood.
“Neighbors just hammered this sign into the Laundrie’s front yard,” Entin wrote on Twitter along with the video. “‘Remember me? Gabby Petito. Roberta and Chris, I once lived with you!’”
