Tonight, the FBI concluded their search of Brian Laundrie’s family home. Laundrie is a “person of interest” regarding the disappearance of Gabby Petito.

UPDATE The FBI search at the Luandrie residence in North Port has concluded. No further details since this is an ongoing investigation. We continue to ask for the public’s assistance in the Gabby Petito investigation. 1-800-CALL FBI or tips.fbi.gov.”

It was just on Sunday when authorities found the remains of who they believe is Petito. The remains were found in Wyoming at Bridger-Teton National Forest. There has not been a confirmed identification of the body they found and a cause of death has not been given either.

Petito went missing while out on a cross-country road trip with Laundrie. During the trip, the two recorded themselves and posted constant updates. When she went missing, Laundrie showed up at his parent’s home in the van the two took on their trip. Petito was not with him and then shortly after, on September 1st, he disappeared without a trace.

As of right now, Laundrie has retained an attorney and is not speaking with law enforcement authorities. There was a video released earlier today that showed that the FBI had removed vehicles from the residence of the Laundrie family. It showed the area marked off with caution tape as people looked on around the neighborhood. It also showed a Ford Mustang being removed from the property.

Gabby Petito Family Appears on Dr. Phil

The family of Gabyy Petito went on Dr. Phil to discuss the events and the heartache that the family is currently feeling. Her father, Joseph Petito, gave his side of things. The pain and anguish that he is going through as a father. Words cannot express what he is going through.

When it was brought up that Brian Laundrie was not speaking with police and had lawyered up instead, Joe felt hopeless. The interview happened before the FBI found the suspected remains in Wyoming. During the interview, Joe said there were questions he still asks himself.

“When did [Brian] get an attorney? Did your parents aid and embed you in a crime?” he asked the longtime television host.

Once it came out that there would not be cooperation with the police, he feared the worst.

“I screamed… I screamed. My wife couldn’t even console me. I thought the worst. That’s my baby.”

As for right now, there is just one thing on Joe Petito’s mind. Bringing his daughter home.

“I’m not allowed to contact [Brian]. I’m not allowed to be anywhere or go anywhere near him. And if I did, all it would do is stop me from the primary focus of finding Gabby. So, I’m doing what I know best: bring my daughter home.”

Here is hoping that the Gabby Petito family has their questions answered sooner rather than later.
