As the search for Gabby Petito’s fiance Brian Laundrie continues, Dog the Bounty Hunter is offering some advice to authorities, including places to look, in order to help find the missing 23-year-old man.
During his interview with Fox News, Dog the Bounty Hunter reflected on the loss of his eldest daughter, Barbara, when she was 23-years-old. He understands what Gabby Petito’s family is going through right now.
“Because I lost a daughter about the same age, I know what the parents feel like,” Dog the Bounty Hunter explained to the media outlet. “You want justification. You want the guy behind bars. All of it’s alleged that he even committed the murder. But circumstantially, it looks like he did.”
Dog the Bounty Hunter then says the strongest lead he sees in the Gabby Petito Case is one of her friends said that Laundrie was in the Appalachian Mountains by himself for a couple of months. “Now, he’s not just a camper. He is an outdoorsman. So, in order to do that, I think because of his age he felt comfortable.”
The well-known bounty hunter then said that if there’s anything right now that looks the “hottest” lead, it would be Gabby Petito’s experience outdoors experience. “It all depends on the picture they got of him the other day. If really that was him.”
Authorities have confirmed that they hadn’t found any clues to the supposed sighting of Laundrie in Okaloosa County. The country’s sheriff’s office confirmed on Twitter, “No one – and nothing – of note was located. The individual referenced has no known ties to our area.”
Dog the Bounty Hunter believes that the Appalachian Mountains would be the best place to look for Gabby Petito’s missing fiance.
Dog the Bounty Hunt Previously Showed Interest in the Gabby Petito Case
As previously reported, Dog the Bounty Hunter appeared at the home of Gabby Petito’s fiance in Florida on Saturday (September 25th). He previously told Newsweek that there needs to be a look into Brian Laundrie’s background to see if he has a history of domestic violence or anything else.
The bounty hunter also said that most of the time, the people he’s searching for are usually closer to home than further away. “A lot of times they say he’s out of state. When he’s right there in his hometown, you know.”
Laundrie has been missing since September 14th. He previously told his parents that he was planning to go hiking at the Carlton Reserve in Sarasota, Florida. This was just days after Gabby Petito’s family filed a missing person’s report after she stopped being in contact with them late last month. Petito’s body has been found. Her funeral will take place on Sunday in Long Island, New York.
