Gene Simmons encourages all Americans to be kind to each other. The lead singer of Kiss continues his message of tolerance for people on both sides of the political spectrum. Simmons’ message comes as media outlets declare Joe Biden winner of the 2020 Presidential Election.
On Twitter, he wrote, “Everybody take a breath…Consider: When you hold a nickel in your hand, you will notice it has two completely different sides to it. I also hope you notice that both completely different sides make up the same coin. Be kind to each other out there today.”

Several media outlets declared Biden the winner of the 2020 Presidential Election earlier today (Nov. 7). These media outlets project the Democratic candidate to win Pennsylvania after increasing his lead to 34,558 votes. That state pushes Biden to 273 electoral votes, three more than needed to become president.
Results in Nevada, Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina are still to be determined. Vote counting continues in the mentioned states. But Biden leads in all of them except for North Carolina.
Gene Simmons Urged Followers to Respect Each Other
On Election Day, Simmons urged his followers to stop talking about politics. He inquired people not to ask who each other is voting for because it leads to arguments.
He wrote, “Vote your conscience. Today. And, it’s nobody’s business who you are voting for. Stop talking about politics with your friends and family. You will not win any argument you may have. We are all Americans. Remember that.”
He also shared the good news in the days following Election Day to motivate his followers. Simmons shared a CNN article where a man donated 25,000 baseball cards to a young girl. The girl lost her baseball collection in a wildfire. The man saw her story and wanted to cheer her up.
