As of earlier Wednesday morning, Joe Biden is officially the 46th President of the United States. Many people have taken to social media to either congratulate the 78-year-old President or shared their altering opinions.
Gene Simmons Twitter Post
Gene Simmons shared a tweet from Yahoo! News that shows the moment Biden was sworn in as the President. Along with the photo, the rocker offered his congratulations in addition to a quick note about reaching out a “friendly hand to all Americans.”
“Congratulations, Mr. President. Hoping you immediately reach out a friendly hand to all Americans. The ones who voted for you. And the ones who didn’t vote for you. The. UNITED States of America!” Simmons tweeted.
A respectable message for whatever side of the political spectrum you fall.
Commenters, of course, had dividing answers to Gene Simmons’s call for unity. One Twitter user said, “Finally got me to unfollow you congrats.” In contrast, another said, “Gene, President Biden has said over and over again he would be a President for all Americans. Even the ones who didn’t vote for him. Google is a great tool if you use it.”
Joe Biden, who has just gained access to the POTUS Twitter account, posted that he will not be wasting any time when it comes to getting things done while in office.
“There is no time to waste when it comes to tackling the crises we face. That’s why today, I am heading to the Oval Office to get right to work delivering bold action and immediate relief for American families. “
Gene Simmon also recently tweeted how “very classy” and “very impressive” Vice President Harris and former Vice President Pence were as they all left the U.S. Capitol.
