Herschel Walker Fires Back at Rep. Maxine Waters, Asks if She Has Passed Laws For Social Justice

On Tuesday night, former Dallas Cowboys running back Herschel Walker joined FOX Business show Varney & Co. and fought back against Rep. Maxine Waters’ comments that she will “never forgive” Black Trump voters.

Walker criticized the politician for multiple reasons. The former running back said that Waters incited violence in 2018. Waters suggested to her supporters that they publicly confront and harass members of the Trump administration. At the time, she was responding to a “zero tolerance” policy that separated immigrant families at the border.

“Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them,” said Waters at the Wilshire Federal Building. “You tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere. We’ve got to get the children connected to their parents.”

Walker Slams Waters for Living in a Million-Dollar Home

In addition, the former Heisman Trophy winner went on to ask what Waters has done for social justice. He also asked if she had ever passed laws that helped with equality for all.

“I’m gonna respect my elders. But let me be honest here. Isn’t Maxine Waters the one that told people to get up in people’s faces. So she’s inciting violence,” Walker explained. “At the same time, why is no one checking her out. She’s been in office a long, long time. Have you seen her pass laws for social justice? Have you seen her pass anything to make anything equal? So I don’t want to hear them putting the blame on anyone else. Now she’s upset that people are starting to educate themselves and see policies that fit them.”

However, Walker had more to say about the California politician. He bashed Waters for not only living in an expensive home, but says she does not even live in the district she represents. The running back thinks it is not suitable for her to be living in a million-dollar home when people in her district are starving. Walker finishes by saying that Americans just want politicians who care about the country and its citizens.

“Then her opponent said (Waters) doesn’t even live in the district that she represents. And she’s living in a million-dollar house when people in her district are starving,” Walker continued. “So don’t come to me with this here rhetoric right now. I want people to realize the person that should be in office is someone that cares about America, someone that cares about the people. And someone that’s not gonna go out and put money in their pocket, but put it in the people’s pocket.”
