Former Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton says the thought of Donald Trump getting four more years in the White House is nauseating.
Clinton appeared on a podcast with Journalist Kara Swisher on Monday and the former Secretary of State had much to say about Trump’s reelection bid, according to Fox News.
“I can’t entertain the idea of him winning, so let’s just preface it by that,” she said. “Because it makes me literally sick to my stomach to think that we would have four more years of this abuse and destruction of our institutions. Damaging our norms and values and lessening of our leadership, and the list goes on.”
Clinton Criticizes Trump on Twitter
The wife of former President Bill Clinton has been openly critical of the president and uses social media to sound off on her thoughts.
Earlier this week, the president slammed the media for reporting on COVID-19, calling them “losers” and “fake news.”
Clinton took notice of Trump’s tweet shortly thereafter and offered up criticisms of her own in response.
“Over 225,000 Americans are dead in large part because of your incompetence and all you are about is bad press?'” she tweets.
Earlier this month, Clinton also questioned the president’s allegiance in a tweet that garnered more than 130,000 “likes.”
“Donald Trump has demonstrated repeatedly that his first allegiance is not to the United States of America,” she writes.
Swisher asks the 2016 Democratic Presidential Nominee if she thought Trump might come after her legally if he is reelected.
“There’s no doubt that he would do everything he could to attack and punish anyone who was, in his view, an adversary,” she replies. “And he would be aided and abetted, sadly, by both elected and appointed officials.”
With the election now only days away, Clinton hopes for an outcome that sits well with her stomach. She even used her birthday wish to promote the Joe Biden and Kamala Harris election bid.
