Idaho’s “Potato Hotel” has a free four-day stay up for grabs. The state, famous for its delicious potatoes, has a ton of potato-themed locations, but this hotel may just take the cake.

If you want to win a trip to the hotel, you can enter a giveaway hosted by McAlister’s Deli.

According to Delish, the giveaway is in honor of National Potato month (September). The Great Spud Getaway giveaway offers a three-night and four-day stay in the spud shaped Potato hotel along with a trip to Idaho’s capital, Boise. There’s plenty to do in Boise, and tons of fun to have outdoors in the surrounding area.

The hotel, called the Great Idaho Potato Hotel, is complete with a bed, fireplace, and sitting area. In true Idaho fashion, the potato hotel has a silo turned into a tub and a cow that loves to come visit. The hotel is located on 400 acres of land and functions as an Airbnb that usually goes for $200 a night.

The Potato Hotel Originally Served a Different Purpose

While the outside of the Potato Hotel literally looks like a massive potato, the inside looks quite modern and comfortable. The 28-foot long steel, plastic, and concrete structure were initially made to celebrate the Idaho Potato Commission’s 75th anniversary. It traveled around a bit before tiny home designer Kristie Wolfe turned it into an Airbnb.

On top of the main sleeping and sitting area, there is a small bathroom in the Potato Hotel (thank goodness). The potato hotel also has air conditioning (not a sentence you read every day!). One thing the potato doesn’t have, however, is Wifi and TV. So if you go, take it as an opportunity to unplug.

But the giveaway fun doesn’t stop there. The winner receives a year’s worth of free giant spuds from McAlister’s Deli. The giant spuds are a menu item that is essentially loaded baked potatoes. It sounds like a truly tasty win. Most Idaho restaurants have something potato-related on its menu, and each dish is worth a try.

Here’s how to apply: Submit a photo of a potato-based creation on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook with the hashtag #spudbudsweepstakes and tag @McAlistersDeli. You can submit your entry through September 14 at 11:50 pm. Don’t worry if your potato creation isn’t a masterpiece. Winners are selected completely at random. The trip will take place in mid-October, which is a beautiful time of year for the state.

But look, if you’re a lover of the outdoors, a trip to Idaho should DEFINITELY be on your bucket list. From the stunning hikes, beautiful river adventures, rock climbing, and Skiing, the state is a dream for any outdoorsman. So even if you aren’t the #1 fan of potatoes, the trip could definitely worth it. Staying in a potato-shaped hotel for free, however, is definitely a hilarious perk.
