Ivanka Trump’s sporting a new face mask to take precaution against the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Ivanka Trump’s New Face Mask
The Advisor to the President shared a selfie of her wearing what appears to be a floral embroidered face mask. “Taking off! DC [to] Colorado,” she tweeted on July 22.
Prior to the snapshot, Ivanka has previously worn face masks while out. and about at public events. Her father, President Donald Trump, was initially against wearing face masks and seems to have changed his tune.

Previous Face Masks
Ivanka even previously coordinated her face coverings to match her outfits.
On July 1, she posted a photo on Instagram showing herself wearing a light blue face mask as she posed outside with Republican Leader of the House Kevin McCarthy and Republican Rep. Bruce Westerman from Arkansas.
At a NASA launch in May, she and her children were photographed wearing face masks while her husband, Jared Kushner, did not. She has remained socially distant (6 feet apart) from other people at almost all of her appearances and events.
Her Father’s Views
On May 26, Donald asked a reporter to remove his mask to hear him better. He added, “You want to be politically correct,” by wearing the covering.
Previously, Donald did not wear face masks at numerous events he attended in the last few months. However, he announced earlier this month that he wants citizens to take the precaution.
“We are United in our effort to defeat the Invisible China Virus [real name COVID-19], and many people say that it is Patriotic to wear a face mask when you can’t socially distance,” he wrote in an Instagram post on July 21. “There is nobody more Patriotic than me, your favorite President!”
The White House
“There are different procedures as it relates to interacting with the president,” Ivanka Trump told USA Today. She confirmed that her father is “tested on a daily basis” and that “all those who come into contact with him are tested on a daily basis.” She added, “No one is in close proximity to him that isn’t wearing a mask.”
“I always wear a mask when I am with the president, and everyone is instructed to do so as well,” Ivanka continued. “We’ve [White House staff] all been following the advice and guidance of the White House physicians and the CDC guidelines.”
Furthermore, two White House aides tested positive for COVID-19 and new safety measures were added. The West Wing staff members are required to wear masks when they are not socially distant at their desks.
