Ivanka Trump Replies to Donald Trump’s Video Message About His COVID-19 Diagnosis

Ivanka Trump tweeted support for her father, Donald Trump, as he battles symptoms related to his recent COVID-19 diagnosis.

“You are a warrior and will beat this,” she tweeted Friday night. “I love you Dad.” She concludes the tweet with a red heart emoji.”

Ivanka is the second child of the president and his first wife, Ivana. In addition to being his daughter, she has also serves as a presidential advisor to her father.

Ivanka’s Tweet comes on the heels of a video released by the president before heading to the hospital for coronavirus treatment. In the video, tweeted out late Friday evening, Trump says he is in good spirits and expressed gratitude to well-wishers.

“I want to thank everyone for the tremendous support,” he says in the video. “I am going to Walter Reed Hospital and think I am doing very well but we are going to make sure things works out. The first lady is doing very well. Thank you very much, I appreciate it and I will never forget it.”

The president followed that Tweet up with another message a few hours later, again expressing thanks for the support as he battle COVID-19.

“Going well, I think!” he says. “Thank you to all. LOVE!!!”

Eric Trump Chimes in

Ivanka wasn’t the only member of the Trump family to wish the president a speedy recovery. Eric Trump also took to social media to encourage his father.

“@RealDonaldTrump is a true warrior,” he write. “He will fight through this with the same strength and conviction that he uses to fight for America each and every day. I ask that you join me in praying for his recovery. I have never been more proud of someone and what they have had to endure.”

The president was diagnosed with COVID-19 earlier this week and was taken to Walter Reed Medical Center on Friday for treatment, according to Daily Mail.
