Kid Rock joined Donald Trump Jr. at a presidential campaign rally. The event took place on Monday September 14 in Michigan.
Prior to the event, Donald Trump Jr. shared his excitement via Twitter. “It’s going to be a fun one in Michigan today with @KidRock and @kimguilfoyle,” he tweeted. “KidRock to join Donald Trump Jr. for Michigan campaign rally to promote the president’s reelection.”
The “Make America Great Again!” rally was held in Rock’s home county. The event also featured Kimberly Guilfoyle, President Trump’s senior advisor and Trump Jr.’s girlfriend.
Prior to his performance, he gave a speech to promote Trump Sr.’s re-election. “You should probably hit record on your phone right now so g–damn fake media don’t say this didn’t happen,” he began, per Fox News.
“If you believe in the leadership of Donald Trump, if you believe in more leadership of Donald Trump, that you live and will always live and support and stand for the greatest country in the world, make some damn noise!” he continued. He then asked everyone to register to vote and to vote for Trump Sr.
Rock performed a medley of his hits with the Trump flags waving high on the stage. He performed “So Hott,” “Born Free,” “Cowboy,” and “All Summer Long.”

The reactions on social media were mixed, most of them negative as they do not want stars supporting President Trump. Some users pointed out that they don’t want politics in music while others welcomed his political beliefs.
