Politically outspoken actress Kirstie Alley has once again taken to social media to express her thoughts and opinions on America. Alley latest political tweet came early Sunday morning and its the second amendment she is discussing this time.

“Just a tip for the blue run states. This s*** doesn’t fly in Kansas, Florida, Oklahoma or Texas,” Alley says in the tweet. “One more reason the second amendment won’t be amend. And defund the police? Good luck.”

Alley was responding to a video circulating on social media in which an older man is sucker punch from behind by a sign-toting protester. In addition, the man falls to the ground after the punch.

The second amendment of the United State Constitution gives American citizens the right to bear arms. The official wording of the second amendment, according to the Law Library of Congress, is as follows:

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

The second amendment has come under scrutiny for many years with some scholars having diverse interpretations of the law. Defunding certain law enforcement efforts has also been a hot button topic since the death of George Floyd earlier this year.

Alley Active on Social Media

Alley often uses social media as a platform to express her conservative political stance and endorse President Donald Trump’s reelection bid. Though she has come under much scrutiny, she continues trumpeting her political position.

Over the weekend, Alley put out a tweet admonishing Trump supporters for deleting Trump endorsing tweets.

“Omg…right after the “election” someone, I forget who, predicted that people who were supporting Trump would delete their Trump tweets,” she says. “I thought “no way.” I hate to say it but it’s true. What kind o cowardice is this? I’m kinda shocked.”
