NBA star LeBron James made fun of Vice President Mike Pence on Instagram. Pence went viral after a fly landed on his head during the vice presidential debate on Oct. 7.

On James’ Instagram story, he posted two screenshots of Pence with the fly on his head. “Ya’ll know what flies favorite destination is right??!!” James wrote. “Yup you guessed it.”

James also included multiple instances of laughing and poop emojis, according to TMZ.

James is an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump and his administration. For instance, in August James wore an altered version of a MAGA hat to protest police violence. The NBA star has also used his social media accounts to make political statements in the past.

After the Sept. 29 presidential debate, James urged his followers to vote in the upcoming election. He wrote, “PLEASE VOTE!!!!!” and also tagged More Than a Vote in the tweet. James created the organization, with business partner Maverick Carter, to increase voter turnout at elections in the U.S. As part of the program, the organization provides tutorials on how people can vote.

Pence had been answering a question regarding law enforcement when the insect landed on him. According to New York Magazine, the fly stayed on Pence’s head for nearly two minutes. It’s not apparent was aware of the fly. But, the moment went viral on social media.

Similar incidents have occurred with other politicians. For instance, Hillary Clinton went viral during a 2016 presidential debate when a fly landed on her forehead. Earlier this year, a fly landed on the face of former New York mayor Mike Bloomberg during a speech at the Democratic National Convention.

“I would vote for the fly on Mike Bloomberg’s face,” one Twitter user wrote at the time.

Additionally, Donald Trump had his own fly moment in 2016 when a fly landed in his hair during a presidential rally. Both the current and former president had their run-ins with flies. In 2009, PETA also criticized Barrack Obama when he killed a fly during a CNBC interview.
