Luke Combs married his fiancée Nicole Hocking in Florida over the weekend.
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place on Saturday (August 1) in Nicole’s home state of Florida. There are few details about the nuptials as the couple keeps their private life, private.
“Luke and Nicole were married at their home in southern Florida with family on Aug. 1,” Luke’s representative told People. “Despite the threat of a hurricane, the couple had a lovely intimate ceremony and will be celebrating with friends and family in the new year.”
What The Happy Couple Had to Say
“Yesterday was the best day of my life,” Luke tweeted on Sunday (August 2). “I got to marry my best friend. I love you @nicohocking, here’s to forever.”
Nicole already changed her name on social media to Nicole Combs. “Yesterday was the most special day,” Nicole wrote on Instagram. “I’m so happy to spend the rest of my life with you! Although we wish would have had every single one of our family & friends there, we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone next year! So excited to share more of this day soon. much love!”

All About Luke Combs and Nicole Hocking
Luke and Nicole began dating in 2016. Luke met Nicole while she was working at BMI before he was signed. “Everybody was like, ‘Yeah, this is never gonna work,’” Luke told the outlet prior to their engagement. “and so I didn’t have anything when we met.”
Finally, the couple announced their engagement on November 29, 2018, via Instagram. “She said yes a while ago but this is a way better place to take pictures than the kitchen,” Luke wrote alongside a photo from their Hawaii vacation. “Can’t wait to spend forever with you.”
“Now that I’ve had time to let it sink in a little… I always said if I was to ever get married, I didn’t want to pick out the ring or go ring shopping,” Nicole wrote on Instagram to announce the engagement. She explained that she wanted her future husband to choose a ring that he knew would be the one. She added that Luke outdid himself. “I never thought a ring could mean so much to me,” she wrote. “I love you Luke Albert Combs, I’m going to marry the hell outta you.”
