Luke Combs is a 2020 CMT Awards Video of the Year nominee

Luke Combs is doing quite well for himself in the country music industry. On October 12, CMT revealed “Beer Never Broke My Heart” was in the running for Video of the Year award.

There’s a lot going for Combs right now. Winning this award would be a huge step forward for the fledgling singer. He also has plenty to say on what’s going on with the new songs he’s added to his album.

Combs spoke to the Grammy Museum for their “Behind The Songs” series to offer some insight into the process behind bringing his album to life. As with many other artists, life has been a major contributing factor to the music and lyrics.

What You See Ain’t Always What You Get is set for an October 23 debut.
