Love McDonald’s chicken nuggets? Love spicy food? Well, once again, you will soon be able to enjoy both – in the same bite.

According to an article on People.com, the famous fast-food chain McDonald’s Spicy Chicken McNuggets are now available. But, that’s only for a limited time. So, make your way to those golden arches as soon as you can.

McDonald’s debuted its Spicy Chicken McNuggets in September 2020. The new menu item was a hit and went viral very quickly. That positive response led the fast-food chain to put them back on the menu – albeit for a brief time.

What makes the spicy nuggets different from their regular counterparts? According to the report, the nuggets are still made of white-meat chicken. However, the spicy version is breaded with a tempura batter that has been spiced with chili pepper and cayenne.

McDonald’s is also currently running a new promotion called “Throwback Thursday.”

This promotion is reportedly celebrating the lower prices diners paid years and years ago. The special discounts include popular menu items that are 35 cents or less.

The Throwback Thursday promotion will run until Feb. 18, according to the report. In order to be eligible for the discount, you must purchase at least $1 on the McDonald’s app. After that, the menu item of the day will be available at a very discounted rate.

McDonald’s Enters ‘Chicken Wars’ with Three New Sandwiches

Earlier in January, McDonald’s entered the “Chicken Wars” with its release of three new sandwiches.

According to a previous report by Outsider.com, the fast-food chain is hoping customers will go in for the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Deluxe Chicken Sandwich. The three items are scheduled to appear on McDonald’s menu beginning Feb. 24.

McDonald’s is looking to get a share of the popular fast-food chicken market. According to Joe Erlinger, president of McDonald’s USA, the chicken market is double the size of the beef market globally.

“It is growing faster and represents a significant opportunity,” Erlinger said. “Developing a reputation for great chicken represents one of our highest aspirations. We want customers to choose McDonald’s for chicken.”

McDonald’s reportedly began testing its chicken sandwiches in restaurants located in Knoxville, Tennessee, and Houston, Texas. The main sandwich is a fried chicken filet. This chicken sandwich is topped with butter and pickles. The sandwich served on a potato bun. There’s also a spicy version of the sandwich. The deluxe chicken sandwich comes with the filet and pickles, but will also have mayo, lettuce, and tomatoes.

Dolly Parton Went on Date at Fast-Food Restaurant

The list of people who haven’t eaten at McDonald’s at least one must be very short. For an example of the celebrity elite dining there, country legend Dolly Parton still can’t help herself. Parton revealed last year that she went on a date with her husband, Carl Dean, at a McDonald’s drive-thru.

“When I met my husband, he wanted to take me out to dinner. He pulled up to the drive-in window and got our food at McDonald’s,” she told People back in 2018.
