Melania Trump is being criticized for her White House Christmas decor online. Many on social media are recalling past audio tapes of the First Lady allegedly slamming holiday decorations released earlier this year.
In the tapes, Melania reportedly comments on a particular Trump administration policy of separating migrant children and parents in detention centers at the Mexican border. Melania’s former aide and friend, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, released audiotapes back in October.
“They say I’m complicit. I’m the same like him, I support him. I don’t say enough I don’t do enough where I am,” Trump reportedly said. “I’m working my a– off on the Christmas stuff, that you know, who gives a f–k about the Christmas stuff and decorations? But I need to do it, right?”
“Okay, and then I do it and I say that I’m working on Christmas and planning for the Christmas and they said, ‘Oh, what about the children that they were separated?’” Trump reportedly also added. “Give me a f–king break. Where they were saying anything when Obama did that?’ I cannot go, I was trying get the kid reunited with the mom. I didn’t have a chance—needs to go through the process and through the law.”

Twitter Blasts Melania Trump For Her Comments
On Twitter, several users later blasted Trump for her comments. They compared the audio to recent clips of when Melania received the 2020 Christmas tree.
One user wrote, “OMG Brian Williams on MSNBC just ran the audio of Melania saying “Fu*k Christmas” with a picture of her receiving the Christmas tree at the White House today.”
