Melania Trump is offering up some special thanks this holiday season and is using this time to reflect on what she’s thankful for.

A message for those on the front lines is shared by the First Lady’s Twitter account on Thanksgiving.

The caption reads, “On #Thanksgiving, we are reminded of the love of family & friends as we reflect upon the many blessings we have received. We are thankful for our service members, first responders & law enforcement for all they do to defend & serve this great Nation. #HappyThanksgiving.”

Mrs. Trump’s also been posting about the events at the White House that led up to Thanksgiving. She and President Trump wished everyone a happy Thanksgiving at the National Thanksgiving Turkey Pardoning Ceremony. Furthermore, they celebrated the traditional pardoning of the national Thanksgiving turkey on Tuesday.

“On behalf of the entire Trump Family, I want to wish every American a Healthy and Happy Thanksgiving,” The President wrote in a tweet, sharing video from the ceremony.

Additionally, Trump shared a clip from the day on his Twitter account.

Melania Trump is Ready for Christmas

Melania Trump took to Twitter to express her excitement about receiving the White House Christmas tree.

“Since 1966, the arrival of the White House Christmas Tree has become an iconic holiday tradition,” Melania starts the caption with. “This year’s tree, a lovely 18 1/2 foot Fraser Fir from Dan and Bryan Trees of West Virginia…”

The massive Fraser Fir arrived on a horse-drawn carriage in DC on Nov. 22. The arrival of the Christmas tree means decorating is close behind.

Trump’s selected some controversial Christmas decorations in the past. However, this isn’t the only thing receiving backlash. Audiotapes have come to light that is putting the First Lady in some hot water.

Melania allegedly comments on a particular Trump administration policy of separating migrant children and parents in detention centers at the Mexican border. All the while this is going on, she’s stuck worrying about decorating for the holidays.
