Michelle Obama Goes After Donald Trump in Fiery DNC Segment

Michelle Obama isn’t mincing words when speaking about President Donald Trump. In a scathing speech, the former first lady blasted Trump as incapable of running the country.

On Monday evening, Obama spoke from her Martha Vineyard home on the opening night of the virtual Democratic National Convention. During her pre-taped speech, she urged Americans not to vote for another term President Trump.

“Donald Trump is the wrong president for our country,” she said. “He has had more than enough time to prove that he can do the job, but he is clearly in over his head.

Obama feels that President Trump isn’t right for “this moment” or for the next four years. “He cannot meet this moment,” she says. “He simply cannot be who we need him to be for us. It is what it is.”

She continued by expressing fears that the current issues in the US may worsen if Trump wins another election. “So if you take one thing from my words tonight, it is this: if you think things cannot possibly get worse, trust me, they can; and they will if we don’t make a change in this election,” Obama said.
