As if you weren’t already overwhelmed with every company debuting their own set of seltzers, Anheuser-Busch announced their new Michelob Ultra Organic Hard Seltzer.
In a press release, the company made the bold statement that this seltzer was the “first national USDA-certified organic hard seltzer.”
The world-famous beer company will be rolling out some new flavors, however. These flavors will include Spicy Pineapple, which definitely sparked our interest, Peach Pear, which we can also get behind, and Cucumber Lime, which we are unsure about.
Each can will also be health conscious for our more “woke” readers. They have only 80 calories and zero grams of sugar and carbs. However, you will have to compromise with only four percent alcohol. Even a White Claw has 5 percent alcohol.
In addition, the seltzer is filtered six times. Six. Because four or five just wasn’t enough.
In the end, you might be drinking the same amount of calories if you would have a beer to get even a slight buzz.
As the old saying goes, Michelob is a lot like a canoe, just a little too close to water for me.
Nonetheless, if you are looking to try the organic hard seltzer, they will be available starting in January of 2021. A variety pack will be released later in the year.
More Seltzers Coming Out
Similarly, Bud Light also came out with its own brand of Platinum Seltzer. Compared to Michelob’s, it packs a harder punch with eight percent alcohol and 170 calories. This brand of heavyweight seltzers comes in three flavors, including, Citrus, Wild Berry, and Blood Orange.
You can find this drink in either 25-ounce or 16-ounce single cans. They also come in a variety six-pack that has 12-ounce cans in it or single-flavor six-packs.
If drinking with a greater purpose is what makes you feel good, then check out Coors new seltzer that has partnered with Change the Course to protect and clean American rivers that provide clean water to wildlife as well as millions of people.
