MyPillow Posts New Tweet ‘the Bots and Trolls Will Enjoy’

by Halle Ames

MyPillow is done being warm and cuddly and started to throw shade on Twitter by posting a story even “the bots and trolls will enjoy.”

After a string of tweets that claimed the recent election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden was rigged with election fraud, the CEO OF MyPillow, Mike Lindell, was banned from Twitter. According to the Washington Post, Twitter banned more than 70,000 accounts due to political issues, especially those that arose with the storming of the U.S. Capitol.

In addition, retailers like Macy’s, Kohl’s, Wayfair, and Bed Bath & Beyond all dropped the product from their sites.

Conversely, the MyPillow Twitter account shared a link to a story called “The Mike Lindell Story: An American Dream”. The caption also didn’t hesitate to throw a little shade at the people calling out Lindell.

“Here is a great story about Mike Lindell that even the bots and trolls will enjoy !”

Naturally, other Twitter users slammed the account in the comments. While some stood up for Lindell, the response was primarily negative.

One person said, “Am I going to spend the morning reading about a fascist pillow manufacturer? No.”

While another made very bold claims, saying, “Here is a great story about a crackhead who created a sh*tty pillow company and went on to try and undermine democracy!”

For those who didn’t take the time to click on the link, the summary reads as follows.

“A documentary about how Mike Lindell, despite extreme money issues, drug addictions, and adversity, creates fame and fortune from his idea for a pillow and becomes the American success story.”

It also adds, “As this documentary shows, Mike is the American dream success story. Watching this documentary can be an inspiration for all, as it shows that anyone with passion and drive, and integrity for their product can do anything. And now, Mike’s dream, MyPillow, is a platform for a bigger purpose in Mike’s calling to God.”

MyPillow also posted another article on Monday, January 25. It further highlights the addiction recovery group Lindell started in “The Real Mike Lindell” article.
