Nashville, Tennessee, December 1, 2020 – Outsider is launching a new YouTube channel that will house video features for camping, hunting, fishing, and other outdoor segments, as well as video product reviews and other content.
Outsider Outdoors gathers a community of experts and enthusiasts passionate about being outside, adventure, hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking. With in-depth story-telling, profiles, videos, and authoritative product reviews, and how-tos, Outsider shows a dedication to educating and inspiring the outdoors lifestyle.
The new YouTube channel launches on December 1. It will showcase Abby Casey, who was recently honored as one of Shot Business’ 40 Under 40. Casey is joined by Brandon Chesbro, who has produced, directed, filmed, and edited national outdoor television shows and even music videos for several major artists.
“The videos we’ve already filmed and are currently editing for this channel are exciting and authentic,” said Greg Gough, Outsider’s GM. “We are building a destination for Outsiders to find honest and detailed product reviews, how-tos, and pure outdoors content through our fun and engaging videos”
Shannon Terry, founder and Executive Chairman of Outsider emphasized the team’s previous success and motivation to best build this brand. “We’ve built large and very successful media brands on the foundation of authentic and original content,” he said. “This is the beginning of the next steps for Outsider as we go full-speed into the outdoors category.”

The new Outsider Outdoors channel will enhance and build off of articles by Outsider’s News division. The news and editorial division offers country music news, original content packages, and sports entertainment pieces, as well as hunting, fishing, and camping informational articles.
Outsider reached more than 10 million unique users in November 2020. It has more than 7 million social followers, making it one of the largest audiences in the outdoor lifestyle space. The social audience receives hyper-engagement from social pages including Outdoors (2 million followers), Camping Page (900 K), Love to Hunt (720k), and the flagship brand Outsider (750k).
