Days after the remains of Gabby Petito’s boyfriend Brian Laundrie were discovered in the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park, drone images are now showing the exact location of where Laundrie was found.

“Drone footage reveals [the] area of Florida park where police made discoveries on morning Brian Laundrie’s remains were found,” Fox News declared in a Twitter post.

Prior to disappearing mid-September, Brian Laundrie had returned to his Florida home after going on a cross-country road trip without his longtime girlfriend, Gabby Petito. Laundrie reportedly refused to share what happened to Petito and why she didn’t return to Florida with him. The 23-year-old man disappeared on September 13th after allegedly going on a hike in the Carlton Reserve in Sarasota County, Florida.

Police recover Gabby Petito’s remains at the Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming on September 18th. This was days after Brian Laundrie went on his hike. Her cause of death is strangulation.

Brian Laundrie’s Attorney Shares More Details About the Moment the 23-Year-Old’s Parents Learned About the Human Remains

During his latest interview with Fox News Digital, Brian Laundrie’s attorney, Steven Bertolino, revealed more details about when the 23-year-old’s parents, Chris and Roberta Laundrie, found out about the remains in Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park.

“[Law enforcement] asked them to identify the backpack,” the lawyer explains. “Roberta identified the backpack as that belonging to Brian [Laundrie].

Bertolino says once Roberta identified the backpack, she and Chris left the park.

“Because it is now going to become an investigative scene.”

Bertolino also confirms that the human remains were found alongside or nearby Brian Laundrie’s backpack. “Chris and Roberta were told that there were remains there. Obviously, they did not know if they were Brian’s or not.”

The Laundrie’s attorney reveals that Brian Laundrie’s remains are now with a forensic anthropologist for further evaluation. Meanwhile, investigators are now working to determine the time, cause, and manner of the 23-year-old’s death.

Bertolino previously spoke to the media outlet that he had spoken to Laundrie on both September 12th and 13th. This was prior to the young man’s disappearance. The lawyer also stated that he used the wrong terms when stating that Laundrie was grieving.

“I still stand by that Brian was upset. He was out of sorts,” Bertolino explains to Fox News. “At the time, Chris said, ‘I couldn’t stop him. He was going.’ And that seems to be something that we wished he didn’t do.”

While reflecting on the days before Laundrie’s disappearance, Bertolino recalls along with Petito’s disappearance, a lot of things were happening around the Laundrie’s home. “They were getting phone calls over the weekend. He needed to get out and clear his head.”

The investigation is still ongoing about Petito’s death.
