The guys at Orange County Customs know how to build a great bike. Now a 2008 Alabama bike could be yours for $25. Each raffle ticket for this bike is worth just $25 and it’s all going to a great cause.
Bike For Braxton is an effort to fundraise money to help pay for life-saving treatment for young Braxton Weidman. The 9-year-old is a huge Alabama football fan and loves being outdoors and playing. He is fighting Glioblastoma and has had multiple surgeries as a result.
Look at this video Outsider’s own Marty Smith took with Nick from OCC.
The bike is the only one that has been signed by all the members of OCC and the winner is going to get a fun experience on top of an awesome bike. Decked out in Crimson and White, the bike has plenty of nice custom touches. It is a complete 1 of 1, there has been no other bike like it made before.
This Alabama bike was brought out for this special occasion. As Nick says in the video, the bike had never had a reason to be auctioned off or raffled off before now. It goes through the end of October, however, they are hoping to extend the raffle.
As for the signatures, those have a clear coat over them to save them forever. So, those will stay no matter what. Also, the guys from OCC including Paul Teutul Sr will hand-deliver the bike to the winner. That’s worth at least $25! Jokes aside, this cause is going to help a little boy get the treatment he needs and deserves.
A lot of respect to the Orange County Choppers team, Alabama, and everyone else who is involved.
Alabama RB Inspired by Braxton Weidman
Last year, the Birmingham native was featured on College Gameday. He had his full Alabama fandom on full display and was inspiring for one running back on the team. Najee Harris got to know the young boy well last year during the season.
After a seizure overnight, Braxton was taken to the hospital. They soon realized something was gravely wrong. Since then, the family has started to deal with the reality they face. He has gone through two brain surgeries at such a young age and has remained positive throughout.
Now, with the Alabama Crimson Tide behind him, including current Pittsburgh Steeler Najee Harris, he has a whole fan base behind him. The addition of the OCC bike fundraiser should be a great moment for tons of folks to rally around this young child fighting for his life.
