An Update on Savannah Chrisley

The Chrisley Knows Best star gave fans an update after her surgery on Friday (August 20). She shared a photo of her post-op donning a face mask with her surgeon, Doctor Sinervo. She revealed that they removed a “huge cyst” and found endometriosis in her uterus, ovaries, bladder, and surrounding areas. Additionally, her doctor removed scar tissue and cut nerves to help with her pain.

“I stayed in the hospital overnight and then was able to go back to my hotel and now I’m heading home today,” she wrote. “Can’t tell you guys how many times I’ve cried…Dr. Sinervo and Dr. Winer are truly gifts from God. Dr. Sinervo asked to pray with me before surgery and then they both held my hands in the OR until I was put to sleep. 😭 It’s time to give myself time to recover.. #endometriosis #endowarrior

Chrisley also gave a tip to those who have to undergo surgeries. She revealed that she had severe gas pains from the CO2 that they fill patients up with during procedures. GasX and peppermint tea helped her “tremendously.”

Her Revealing Post

Chrisley created a vulnerable post prior to her surgery and shared her struggle with the condition. “I haven’t talked about this much because honestly…I have struggled BIG TIME,” she admitted. “I’m insanely self-conscious and just feel like my body has given up on me. I was diagnosed with Endometriosis when I was 18 and it’s been quite the struggle.”

She said that the pain at times is unbearable and that her emotional and psychological health was rough because of it. She revealed that her latest surgery was her third for the condition. She found a specialist in Atlanta, Georgia to become her doctor.

Finally, she asked if any of her followers suffered from “endo” and about their stories. In addition, she will be posting a vlog about her recovery.
