Sharon Osbourne Dedicates Her Latest Post to Former ‘The Talk’ Co-Host Carrie Ann Inaba

Despite her bitter exit from The Talk, Sharon Osbourne is still keeping close with one of her former co-hosts.

The 68-year-old posted an Instagram video of an adorable little girl posing and ballroom dancing, dedicating the clip to Carrie Ann Inaba. Inaba is a former dancer — serving as one of the “Fly Girls” on In Living Color — and host of Dancing with the Stars.

“This one’s for you @carrieanninaba 💃🏻,” Osbourne wrote.

“She’s amazing….. ❤️❤️❤️ she’s a mini-me. But better. 🙌🙌🙌👧🏻💃🏻💯,” Carrie Ann Inaba replied. “Don’t mess with her… 😍.”

Inaba took a leave of absence from The Talk shortly after producers ousted Sharon Osbourne as co-host in April. She and Sheryl Underwood fought over comments Piers Morgan made about Meghan Markle. Underwood felt they were racist. But Osbourne defended the controversial British journalist, causing an on-air fight and behind-the-scenes drama.

The show recently named Jerry O’Connell as her permanent replacement.

Inaba took a leave of absence from the show in April to focus on her health. However, she announced recently that she is returning as a judge to Dancing with the Stars in September. But she has yet to say if she’ll return to the daytime talk show.

“I’ve noticed a lot of you are asking about The Talk if I’m coming back and what’s happening there,” Inaba said in Instagram Stories. “I should have some news soon about what’s going on with my future at The Talk.”

“As soon as I know what’s going on with The Talk I will let you know, I promise. I’m very excited about Dancing With the Stars starting … everything’s good, and I look forward to sharing with you guys the news about The Talk. Have a beautiful day.”

Sharon Osbourne Knocks ‘The Talk’ in Funny Post

When The Talk announced that O’Connell would replace Sharon Osbourne, Osbourne seemingly took a swipe at her former show on Instagram. She implied she was too busy to notice.

“Responding to A LOT of emails this morning,” she posted, with a gif of Jerry Lewis.

Sharon Osbourne was the last remaining original host of The Talk, which debuted in 2010. The rapid turnover of hosts has kept the show trapped in a strange liminal space of seemingly always being retooled.

But O’Connell, the show’s first male host, believes he brings more comedic energy to the show.

“What I think I enhance at The Talk is just, us having fun. If somebody says something or has a story that remotely makes me laugh, or that I think is funny or interesting, we’re gonna hammer that,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “We’re gonna go right in there. I think it’s mostly about us breaking down the stories and having a good time while doing it.”

Osbourne has yet to comment on O’Connell replacing her on the show.
