Baltimore Ravens WR Dez Bryant Makes First NFL Catch Since Dallas Cowboys Days, NFL Fans React

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Dez Bryant made his first catch of the season on Sunday. It was Bryant’s first catch since 2017 when he was a member of the Dallas Cowboys.

Bryant made his return to the league this month after he signed with the Baltimore Ravens. He had missed all of the last two seasons. However, in his second game with the Ravens, Bryant made an impact.

In today’s game against the Tennessee Titans, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson connected with Bryant on a four-yard pass. It was a small gain, but a significant one for the veteran wide receiver.

For starters, the catch was Bryant’s first since Week 17 of the 2017 season when he played for the Cowboys. In his final game with Dallas, he had three receptions for 24 yards.

SportsCenter sent a tweet to their 37.2 million Twitter followers after Bryant made the reception.

“Dez Bryant makes his first catch since 2017,” the official SportsCenter account wrote.

It’s a great accomplishment for Bryant, given the road back the three-time Pro Bowler has faced. It’s one that has included overcoming a torn Achilles suffered in his first practice with the New Orleans Saints in 2017.

NFL Fans React to Dez Bryant Catch

NFL fans have taken to social media to congratulate Bryant on making his first catch in over two years. Many consider it a “welcome back” moment after being out of the league.

“Welcome back Dez!” one user wrote.

One fan was hyped up, tweeting, “LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.”

Of course, it wouldn’t be a true Dez Bryant moment without at least one fan making fun of it being “a catch.” The reference is to the controversial overturn that occurred against the Green Bay Packers in the 2014 NFC Divisional Game.

Dez caught it lol!!!” one fan wrote on Twitter.
