Can an old NFL gunslinger like Brett Favre beat “The Texas Rattlesnake,” Stone Cold Steve Austin, in a bow shooting contest? Let’s see.

Favre makes an appearance on Austin’s “Straight Up Steve Austin” show on the USA Network. The show airs right after “Monday Night Raw” at 11 p.m. Eastern, 10 p.m. Central on Mondays.

In this sneak peek, Favre and Austin are seen standing out in the woods. Favre, the former NFL quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, told Austin that they would be shooting at Sasquatch.

“Do you believe in Sasquatch?” Austin asks Favre.

“I want to believe,” Favre said.

Then Stone Cold lays down the challenge, saying, “I’m about to challenge you to a bow shooting competition. Guy hits the most targets is deemed, wait for it, World Bow Shooting Champion.”

Brett Favre Puts The Pressure On Stone Cold Steve Austin

“Bring it on,” Favre responds. “Would you like to go first or second?” Austin asks.

“I’ll go first,” Favre said. “I want to put pressure on ya.” Both men crack up laughing after Favre’s comment.

“The strategy employed, Brett Favre is going to put the pressure on yours truly, I love it,” Austin said.

Austin also laid down the stipulations. “Now if I win, I’ve got to take a pass from a Hall of Fame quarterback,” he said. “If I lose, I’ve got to take a pass from a Hall of Fame quarterback. It’s my show. I can make any damn rule I want to so whether you win or lose, you’re throwing me a frickin’ pass. How’s that?”

“I love it,” Favre said. It sounds like ol’ Stone Cold was setting himself up either way for playing wide receiver one time with Favre.

Take a few minutes and see whether Favre or Austin come out on top in this bow shooting competition.

Austin Shares Hilarious Story From ‘The Longest Yard’

When he’s not shooting episodes for his TV show, Stone Cold Steve Austin has found himself on the big screen in movies. One of them happened to be a remake of the Burt Reynolds classic “The Longest Yard.”

Now Austin, obviously with his background in professional wrestling, knows how to take a hit or two. He made a lot of money and gained a lot of fame during his active tenure with World Wrestling Entertainment.

But this is movies we’re talking about, not facing The Rock or Triple H in the middle of a wrestling ring.

Most movies have stunt doubles for actors who will take the bumps and bruises for the big stars. Well, Austin discovers there’s not one for him. Say what? No stunt double for Stone Cold?

“They didn’t have a f***ing stunt double for me,” Austin said during an interview on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

“When we filmed that movie, we started out in New Mexico,” Austin said. “It was hotter than blazes. Standing out in the sun. Pat, I got up to 275 for that. I’d been playing running back.

“You know when you try to run through those tires, and you’re holding the football?” he said. “And I’m thinking, ‘Are you kidding me? They don’t have a stunt double for Stone Cold Steve Austin?’”

Austin admitted he really enjoyed working on the film in a 2005 interview with IGN Sports. Everyone on the set was laid back, he said. And he’s grateful for the break that “The Longest Yard” represented for his acting career.
