Bridget Moynahan Speaks Out After Ex Tom Brady Clinches Super Bowl LV Berth

What might come as a surprise to some, is that Tom Brady has a child from a previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan. And what comes as a bigger surprise is that the two seem pretty amicable.

So much so that Brady’s ex, Bridget Moynahan, congratulates the quarterback on his win and advancement to Super Bowl LV. The 49-year-old actress felt strong enough about it she took to Instagram to post the moment their son shares with his father.

Moynahan caption the photos with, “Could not be more proud @tombrady said he would do it and he did. Congratulations @buccaneers.” The first snap is of Brady smiling with his new NFC Champ hat on. Then the next is of Brady talking with his son after he climbs the railing post-game, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, but they call him Jack. It looks like Moynahan might’ve been at the game because it looks like the pic was snapped from in the crowd.

The photo has more than 28-thousand likes. Comments like “You guys are an amazing blended family,” and “You are a true example of co-parenting. Class act,” pepper the comments.

Bridget Moynahan and Tom Brady’s Relationship

The quarterback and actress dated for three years before they called it quits in 2006. However, it wasn’t long after that Moynahan told Brady that she was pregnant. A year later the two welcomed their first child, Jack.

Both Brady and Moynahan have moved on. The six-time Super Bowl champ had been married to perhaps one of the most famous supermodels in the world, Gisele Bündchen, since 2009. The couple has two children together, Benjamin, 11, and Vivian, 8.

Moynahan married in 2015 to businessman Andrew Frankel. The “Blue Bloods” actress and Brady share 50-50 custody of Jack. Reports also say that Brady chose the Bucs because he wanted to remain on the east coast so he could be closer to his first son.

There haven’t been many reports on how the co-parenting is handled. However, the three of them have been spotted out on various occasions. Moynahan has been coy about her comments regarding the blended family.

“I never made a comment about Gisele or Tom publicly,” Moynahan shares according to PopCulture.com. “I have a relationship with these people on a daily basis. I’m raising a child, and it’s public. My son has two loving parents and an extended family, whether it’s cousins or stepmothers, or boyfriends. My son is surrounded by love.”

Brady is headed back to the Super Bowl for the tenth time. What’s more, this is going to be the first time that the home team has played at home in a Super Bowl. Super Bowl LV is scheduled for February 7th, at 6:30 p.m. EST.
