Brittany Matthews Celebrates 9-Year Anniversary with Patrick Mahomes

National Football League superstar Patrick Mahomes and his fiancee, Brittany Matthews, are celebrating nine years together.

Their anniversary comes just weeks after welcoming their first child, Sterling Skye, into the world in late February. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his bride-to-be began seeing each other in high school and have been together ever since. The high school sweethearts can often be seen together in social media photos and Matthews attends as many of Patrick Mahomes’ games as she can. Matthews is a fitness expert, business owner and entrepreneur.

The future Mrs. Patrick Mahomes also stays active on social media, often offering up fitness advice and photos of the couple’s adventures. On Wednesday she took to social media to post an anniversary pic of her and Patrick, who she calls her “favorite human.”

“Nine years with my favorite human,” she says in the social media post. “I love you lots!!” She concludes the caption with a couple of heart emojis and a happy anniversary hashtag.

“Happy Anniversary!” a Patrick Mahomes fan writes. “You two are an adorable couple! Such a cute family!! Congratulations.”

Others note how well Brittany Matthews looks just weeks after giving birth to their first child. Indeed, Matthews does look great standing next to her future hubby.

“And you look great,” another Instagram poster writes. “How did you JUST have a baby!?”

Patrick Mahomes is enjoying his first offseason as a brand new father before it is time to prepare for the 2021 season. He appears to have a walking boot on his left foot — but he has plenty of time to heal before the season arrives.

Mahomes is coming off an MVP-quality 2020 season that didn’t end the way he and his Chiefs teammate hoped for. The Chiefs fell to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-9 in Super Bowl LV just last month. The All-Pro quarterback is sure to have plenty of motivation heading into the 2021 season.
