Bubba Wallace Praises Tom Brady After Super Bowl LV Win

After leading the Buccaneers to Super Bowl glory, Brady got a shoutout from NASCAR’s Bubba Wallace.

Brady secured his seventh Super Bowl win on Sunday night. The NFL superstar has officially joined the exclusive “Seven Titles” club.

Wallace and Brady differ when it comes to sports, but it didn’t keep Wallace from congratulating Brady on his milestone. Following the historic win, Wallace took to Twitter to commend the 43-year-old quarterback.

Other members included of the “Seven Titles Club” include Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton, Valentino Rossi, Dale Earnhardt, and Jimmie Johnson.

Speaking of football, Wallace didn’t initially know that he would also be participating in the NFL Pro Bowl.

Considering no NASCAR driver has ever competed in the annual game, we don’t blame him for being surprised.

However, due to the pandemic, that game became a virtual contest where players played Madden NFL 21 for a quarter of the game.

“It was a last-minute request actually,” he said. “I think I was like a fill-in. But it all worked out.”

The game featured a virtual version of the AFC Pro Bowl team against the official NFC Pro Bowl team, and each roster had four people behind the controls.

Wallace was on the NFC squad along with quarterback Kyler Murray, safety Jamal Adams and former running back Marshawn Lynch.

Quarterback Deshaun Watson, running back Derrick Henry, former wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson and Snoop Dogg made up the AFC team.

Even though Wallace considered himself as “the weakest link,” it was his team who won with a score of 32-12.

Wallace scored multiple touchdowns with Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf and Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook.

While this win may not count as an offical “Pro Bowl” victory, it was the NFC’s first Pro Bowl win since 2012. Murray was named the official MVP, despite Wallace’s impressive performance.

“I thought I was the weakest link going into it,” Wallace admitted. “But ended up being the — I wouldn’t say the MVP since Kyler got it — but I think I should’ve gotten the MVP!”
