Rookie quarterback for the Los Angeles Chargers, Justin Herbert, is rocking a fresh new look after he got a haircut recently.

In quite the contrast, it seems as though Herbert has decided to trade his long, luscious, flowing locks for a fresh fade.

The NFL on ESPN Twitter account tweeted, “Justin Herbert haircut,” with two alert emojis.

Justin Herbert Fans Go Crazy on Twitter Over His New Look

NFL fans took to Twitter quickly to respond to Herbert’s new haircut. One user sent a hilarious look-a-like image of Sid Phillips, the main antagonist of the 1995 Disney Pixar animated film Toy Story. That image was the top reply to NFL on ESPN’s original tweet.

There were many followers that didn’t love Herbert’s new look. One fan said “his long hair was dope tbh.”

Similarly, one fan went as far as to say that Herbert looks like a 12-year-old, in a gif he replied with.

Another user said he looks like a stereotypical high school jock.

Justin Herbert Had to Evacuate Due to Recent Wildfires

While Herbert got a new haircut today, it was just a couple of weeks ago that he and several Los Angeles Chargers players and staff had to evacuate their homes due to wildfires in California.

Tom Pelissero, a reporter for NFL.com, broke the news in light of the wildfires. Not surprisingly, Pelissero said that several members of the Chargers franchise were among 100,000 people that left their homes. The reporter said the team members had relocated to hotels just to be sure that they were safe.

According to CNN, officials ordered more than 100,000 people to evacuate their homes. The Silverado Fire and Blue Ridge Fire were burning all across Orange County, California.

What’s more, On Oct. 26, officials reported the Silverado Fire quadrupled in size. According to California authorities, it was a half-burned cigarette that caused the fire to break out near Irvine.

“We did find a half burned cigarette butt that was indicative of the start of this fire,” Suisun Fire Chief Justin Vincent said.

Furthermore, the fire chief said that two firefighters were seriously hurt while tackling the fire.
