Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool has continued his war of words with the Cleveland Browns following their Wild Card playoff game over the weekend.

After the Steelers lost to the Browns, Claypool said that Cleveland has no chance against the Kansas City Chiefs. His trash talk started a back and forth between the teams that continues to gain steam. Browns linebacker Sione Takitaki claimed that Claypool is just “salty about losing.” Takitaki’s statement was enough for Claypool to keep the feud going.

The wide receiver claimed that Cleveland was “super classless” during their playoff matchup over the weekend. He says they mocked his teammate Juju Smith-Schuster, and so he has no respect for their team.

“If the Browns had won with more class, then I wouldn’t have been so salty about it. But them mocking JuJu during the game and after the game just didn’t sit right with me,” Claypool said on DAZN. “They were just super classless, you know against JuJu, towards JuJu what they were saying on the field towards the end of the game. So I’m not going to have respect for a team that doesn’t have respect for us.’’

“They can enjoy the win and another week of football, but they’ll be on the couch right next to me next week. So it’s all good,” he added.

Chase Claypool Says Browns Aren’t Getting Past the Chiefs

The Steelers advanced to the next round of the playoffs following their victory over the Browns. However, they have a tough matchup against the Chiefs – last year’s Super Bowl champs – coming up this weekend. Therefore, the Browns are definitely considered the underdogs, and Claypool made sure to let them know it.

Claypool went live on Instagram to share his thoughts following his team’s 48-37 loss to the Browns. The rookie wide receiver thinks Cleveland’s season will come to an end at Arrowhead Stadium this weekend. Bleacher Report posted a clip of Claypool on Monday.

“Chase Claypool went live and said the “Browns are gonna get clapped next week” against the Chiefs,” the post reads.

If the Browns pull off the upset on Sunday, their players may have some more choice words for Claypool in the near future.
