Chase Young Gets Huge Washington Football Team Chain Worth More Than $80K

Chase Young knows what it takes to get a W in the NFL — about $85,000. That’s how much the 21-year-old’s new Washington Football Team inspired chain is supposedly worth.

The Football Team’s standout rookie defensive end recently showed off the giant, diamond-encrusted W. Gabriel The Jeweler, who’s created pieces for several NFL stars, crafted this for Young using nearly 40 carats of diamonds, TMZ Sports said.

Young has a lot to celebrate. Washington drafted him second overall this season, and his contract is worth more than $30 million. He’s a contender for Rookie of the Year for his inspired on-the-field performance and was one of the few bright spots in Washington’s season.

Chase Young Has Request for Brady After Calling Him Out

The Washington Football Team eked into the playoffs after beating the Philadelphia Eagles in the final game of the season. As Chase Young left the field, he had a message for the team’s playoff opponent Tampa Bay and their future Hall of Fame quarterback.

Tom Brady! Tom Brady, I’m coming. I want Tom!” cameras caught him saying.

Well, he got more of Brady than he’d hoped. The Buccaneers beat Washington 31-23 last week, but Young said he wasn’t backing away from his comment.

“I play ball,” said Young, via ESPN. “I’m excited to go against the best. The media, their job is to stir it up. If you know me, I’m excited for every game. Tom Brady, you think I’m not excited to play against the GOAT? You trippin. I’m not going to apologize for saying I want Tom. No, I want every quarterback I play against.”

But he apparently also wanted something else from Brady — the shirt off of his back, Fox News said.

The two spoke after the game on Saturday, Jan. 9. Brady told Young he thought the rookie played well in his first playoff game.

“I appreciate you,” Young said. “You the real GOAT I need something from you, though. I need this off of you.” Young pointed to Brady’s jersey.

Brady said he would get it to him, signaling there were no issues over Young’s comment.

Brady will lead the Buccaneers against Drew Brees and the Saints in New Orleans on Sunday. The winner will advance to the NFC Championship game.
