In perhaps the least surprising news of the day, Andy Dalton has been ruled out of this week’s NFL game. Dalton suffered a concussion two weeks ago against the Washington Football Team. However, this week’s absence isn’t related to the concussion.

Todd Archer broke the news with an expertly dry sense of humor that only Dallas Cowboy’s fans will appreciate.

Not only did Dalton Suffer a concussion, but now has Covid-19. What a tumultuous week for the newly dubbed starter for the ‘boys. After Jon Bostic, of the Washington Football Team, delivered a monster, high hit to Dalton, it seemed that Dalton should most likely miss a couple of weeks.

Andy Dalton was forced to takeover for Dak Prescott after the latter broke his ankle. Dalton’s debut in a Cowboy uniform, til now, has not been great. However, Cowboys head coach, Mike McCarthy, is still optimistic about the season.

Twitter Heyday

In devastating fashion, Dalton will indeed miss next week against the Pittsburgh Steelers as well. As if Ben Dinucci didn’t play badly enough, this leaves the door to going 2-14 wide open. Moreover, Cowboys fans seem non too pleased by the Dalton news, as evidenced by some of their twitter reactions.

What can only be classified as a “didn’t age well” tweet from Dinucci. D

The unofficial NFL meme page had something to say as well.

An optimistic Cowboys fan chimed in to voice his opinion on Ian Rapoport’s news.

Sarcasm duly noted here, no doubt.

Dallas sports media was all over Dinucci after his lackluster performance against the Philadelphia Eagles. But for good reason. Dinucci posted only 180 yards passing at a 51 percent completion rate, meanwhile fumbling twice.

Well, the good news for Cowboys fans is that there is always next year. Is that good news? At any rate, we’ll just have to wait and see.
