Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was recently sued for more than $1 million because his dogs allegedly attacked his neighbor. Now, home surveillance video footage has surfaced from the incident.

On Tuesday, TMZ shared footage of the alleged incident. Multiple videos show how Elliott’s three dogs escaped from his backyard in May. Additionally, they show the dogs in his neighbor’s backyard area. As the dogs circle around the pool and get closer to the house, you can hear a woman’s startled voice. Then viewers can hear the dogs start to growl and bark. Next, the alleged victim can be heard screaming for help as the dogs supposedly attack her off-camera.

The 90-second surveillance clip seems to show a landscaper from Perfect Synthetic Grass leaving Ezekiel Elliott’s home. He accidentally leaves the gate open as he exits the property on May 19. The video shows the gate staying open overnight and into the morning. That’s when the star running back’s three dogs wander through the open gate and into his neighborhood.

According to TMZ, court documents claim that his dogs attacked a man in the neighborhood. He sustained injuries to his thigh, leg, hand, wrist, and forearm. Later on, a woman in the neighborhood found the trio of canines roaming the area. She says she brought them home to her backyard to keep them safe until she found their owner.

However, she claims the dogs eventually attacked her. Her lawsuit states that she suffered injuries to her finger, forearm, thigh and stomach.

Ezekiel Elliott’s Lawyer Shares Statement on the Lawsuit

TMZ Sports recently shared a statement from Ezekiel Elliott’s attorney addressing the dog attack accusation. Attorney Frank Salzano said that his client is concerned about his neighbor’s well-being. But their official stance on the matter is that Elliott is denying fault in the incident.

“Mr. Elliott and his representatives are aware of the lawsuit filed on July 30th, which stems from a previously reported incident from May 21st of this year.  As Mr. Elliott expressed at that time, he was – and remains concerned – for the party involved,” Salzano told TMZ Sports.

“However, as in most disputes, there are extenuating circumstances to this matter which will impact the legal proceedings which we are not at liberty to disclose.  As such, we have no further comment at this time,” he added.

Elliott’s Dogs Involved in Further Incidents

This isn’t the first incident that Ezekiel Elliott’s dogs have stirred up some trouble. The recent lawsuit is the third time the NFL player has been sued because of violent incidents involving his beloved canines.

Back in June 2020, a pool cleaner brought a lawsuit against Elliott when his Rottweiler, Ace, allegedly attacked her arm and dragged her. The woman also claims his two bulldogs attacked her legs. Since then, the lawsuit has been settled, according to court records.

In addition, Elliott was sued in a third court case in June because of a March 25th incident. Allegedly Ace attacked a pet resort employee, but that case is still ongoing as well.
