Floyd Mayweather just bought his newborn grandson a gift. No, it’s not diapers, or a stroller, or even a new crib. It’s something more exponentially expensive than those gifts, and definitely much more excessive.

The champion boxer purchased a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust. The starting price of the watch – $45,000. Mayweather’s grandson, Kentrell Jr. or KJ is his daughter Iyanna’s son with rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again.

Would you call this more money than brains or just grandfatherly love? What’s more, the infant also scored a ride on Mayweather’s private jet.

Floyd Mayweather, Watch Collector

Some people collect stamps, or coins, or even cars. The accomplished boxer’s taste leans a little more to latter or expensive taste.

Floyd Mayweather has an extensive, and impressive watch collection. We’re not talking Timex or Casios, although he does have one that’s blinged out. Mayweather collects some of the most expensive watches in the world, like Rolex, Richard Mile, Patek Philippe, and Audemars Piguet. What’s more, he doesn’t stop there, he purchases them with after-market additions with jewels covering every millimeter of the timepiece.

Mayweather often shows off his watches on social media. He especially took the time to post a clip of a present he purchased for himself in 2018 after he beat Conor McGregor.

The watch is famously known as “The Billionaire,” and cost him a cool $18 million.

Mayweather Coming Out of Retirement for Exhibition Fight

The retired boxer has agreed to fight YouTube personality, Logan Paul. As a matter of fact, the fight was supposed to happen last night (Feb. 21).

However, according to Fanmio founder and CEO Solomon Engel, the exhibition event has been postponed.

“After an absolutely tremendous response to the fight announcement, we’re hoping to announce a new date very soon along with some new exciting details,” Engel said in a statement.

Famio was set to host the fight between Mayweather and Paul. Plus the plan was also to stream the event via pay-per-view.

Mayweather is making plans for 2021, and not only does it include Logan, but Floyd wants to face Logan’s younger brother, Jake. However, Jake Paul has to fight former UFC fighter Ben Askren first in April, before Mayweather will fight him. The champion boxer also is ready to fight rapper 50 Cent.

“I don’t care about weight class with any of these guys,” Mayweather writes in an Instagram post. “The Paul brothers will make great money with the events, but with 50 cent It has to be ‘Winner Take All.'”

Mayweather’s last exhibition fights were against kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa and former UFC champion Conor McGregor. Mayweather beat both opponents, keeping his 50-0, 27 KOs record.
