Floyd Mayweather Remembers Mother of Three Children, Josie Harris, on 1-Year Anniversary of Death

Boxing champion Floyd Mayweather took a moment to remember Josie Harris, his former girlfriend and mother of his three children, on Sunday.

Mayweather shared a moment on Instagram on Sunday, Jan. 17, as he visited Harris’ grave at a mausoleum. Harris would have turned 41 years old on Jan. 17, 2021, had she lived.

She died in March 2020 of what officials have called an accidental overdose of prescription medication. Harris was found in a parked car in the driveway of her Southern California home.

The relationship between Floyd Mayweather and Harris was not always peaceful. In 2010, Harris filed a domestic battery charge against Mayweather. He ended up spending two months in jail over it in 2012.

Also, he called her a drug abuser in 2015 in an interview. Harris filed a defamation suit for $20 million after that interview was aired.

Floyd Mayweather Announces Match Against Logan Paul

Meanwhile, it appears Floyd Mayweather is getting ready to step into the ring and fight YouTube personality Logan Paul.

Mayweather will fight Paul in an exhibition match on Feb. 20, 2021.

Obviously, the differences between the two fighters are astounding. Floyd Mayweather retired with an undefeated 50-0 record. Paul lost the one pro match he’s ever competed in, against KSI, a fellow Internet sensation.

Following the announcement of the fight, Logan Paul began getting a little too big for his britches when answering questions regarding the match.

Paul, Mayweather Trade Barbs Leading Up To Fight

While getting his picture taken by paparazzi, many of them asked him about fighting Mayweather.

“If I caught Floyd with one punch — one punch — I would snap this f**ker in half,” Paul said. “If I caught Floyd in a real fight, street fight, whoop his a**! No question.”

In response to Paul’s cockiness in the video, Mayweather returned with an answer.

“These YouTube girls better find some Barbie dolls to play with ’cause I’m not the one for the kid games,” Mayweather tweeted while promising to beat Paul’s a** like he did Conor McGregor.

Mayweather is staying the most humble of the two combatants. He officially retired in 2015 but only returned once in 2017 to defeat McGregor

His career includes holding five different championship belts and totaling 27 knockouts, too.

The revelations around securing the exhibition match come after months of suspicions started soaring. Mayweather finally confirmed the exhibition match on Dec. 7 via Instagram.
